Seems that Alizee is like opera- the first time you go you either love it, or hate it. It is important to check in advance what type of an event they will have,o after all you do not want to get stuck at a rock concert if you are a strictly classical music fan. Their food is amazing- at least what I had a couple of days ago (scallops, lamb chops and something they call cheesecake but is actually a puff pastry with filling and is excellent!). It is not your local pub price-wise. I wouldn't call it extremely expensive but it is not cheap! Yet, I believe they do it on purpose, thus targeting at a specific crowd they want to attract. We loved it, loved it, loved it! :)

Not the worst, but nothing to write home about either. Lack of business on a Friday night should have been a clue. Crab soup, taste was okay, but this was reminiscent of Campbell's canned vegetable soup with a sprinkle of crab meat placed on top: more veggies than crab. Spinach salad: difficult to eat, piled high on a flat plate, with no room to mix it up since you put the mushrooms, red onion and bacon bits on in sections. Raspberry vinaigrette tasted bottles and overly sweet, like HFCS, missing a vinegar tang. Who serves tartar sauce with deep fried zucchini? Heard of ranch dressing? And your ranch dressing...well, Red Robins is three times better. sliders looked pitiful, nacho cheese sauce used for the cheese? And processed patties? Gag. Oh and BTW, teach your servers to know what the soup of the day is when they begin their shift: that's inexcusable. I won't be back.

Can't go wrong with an old fashion loved it! Had the Duck Agnolotti and Tagliatelle Verde, delicious! My girlfriend and I ate it so quick we forgot to take a pic. Perfect date night. Great food, great drinks, and perfect ambience. And of course had to try Scott Conant's signature spaghetti pomodoro, and did not disappoint! This will be our go to spot for sure.

Popped in twice recently, and was very disappointed. On both occasions the staff behavior did not inspire confidence that they would be competent servers, and we will not be returning to attempt dinner.

Edit: Have since eaten here a dozen times for work meetings. First impression was correct. Food mediocre & service fairly poor. Although there is a brunette woman on the lunch shift who is an excellent server. Everyone else seems pretty poor.
