  So on an attempt to find Authentic Mexican Quizine, I remembered this good spot from 7yrs ago on Harford road so we went to visit again this past Friday. When we entered it was a Ghost Town which seemed odd for a Friday Night. There were 2 patrons at the bar who seemed to be kin to the bar maid and 9 other employees on staff. Since they had no customers they were spaced out between the bar and lounge area tuned into their phones or watching t.v. No one greeted us, so we picked out a table for ourselves and one of the girls got up from the bar and came over with menu's. I asked if they had any drink specials, she replied no. I inquired about the Margarita's and asked if it was house made tequila which she also had no clue of. I opted to try a Magarita on the rocks and my guest ordered sodas. After studying the lengthy menu we had our mouths set, we placed our order and went to the restroom to wash our hands. This is where is goes all down hill!!! The ladies restroom seemed to be out of soap, so since it was completely empty in the restaurant we used the mens room but they were also out of soap. We went to the bar and told the bartender the soap dispensers needed to be replaced. She went to the sink behind the bar and shook an empty bottle of soap. She said I'm sorry we are out. I asked if someone could get some from the back and she looked puzzled and walked to the kitchen. As we waited our waitress came back I told her we were waiting for soap for the restroom. She said Oh they dont speak English well, let me see what I can do, she also went to the kitchen. Both ladies returned to the bar and said Oh we are completely out. I said, Im sorry what do you mean? Its no soap in the restroom, the bar or the kitchen? How did you wash your hands today? How are the chefs washing their hands? you mean to tell me its 12 people on staff today and no one has washed their hands since the shift started? She apologized again and said well, I can get you the stuff we use to clean the dishes if you like? I was so disgusted and livid by this time!!!! I motioned to my party and told them we were leaving. I asked her again if she understood why I was so disgusted? She looked puzzled, I explained how nasty it was for the bartender to take cash and then make a drink without washing her hands. And how people can easily become sick if the Chef doesn't use proper hand washing while preparing food and handling meat. I also asked her if any of the staff had used the restroom during that shift......how disgusting is that!!!!!! We exited the resturant and do you know the waitress came to the door and stopped us...she said excuse me im sorry but I need you to pay for your drinks. I said the drinks you made with your dirty hands? Never in my Life!!!! We handed her a $5 bill and stormed off!!!! If you care about your health and dont want Salmonella please don not eat here!!!!! UnFreaking Believable!!!!!!

  Before the management changed the food was good and worth the money, but now it's bad. The refried beans are salty, the beef tacos have no flavor and hardly any ingredients in it, the enchiladas are smaller, and the rice has peas and carrots in it! To make it worse, my beans had some gritty stuff in it. I think I was chewing clumps of dirt! Disgusting!! Won't be back and I'm not happy about that since I like to support local small businesses.

  Visited this place and was welcome with a big smile. The food came in a timely fashion as well as the drinks. The food was rich in taste and the portion was huge. The price for this fabulous meal was inexpensive. If you want a taste of Mexico, this is the place to satisfy the appetite. Mucho Gracious!
